Welcome to the website for the Rattlesnake Mountain Rangers, a new Cowboy Action Shooting Club.

We are located between Checotah and Warner Oklahoma just south of Muskogee, and shoot the first Saturday of the month.

The June 6th shoot was great, everyone pitched in and helped to make things run smoothly. It was so great seeing Choctaw Jack back shooting with us, and the fun was multiplied times three with the addition of Back Shooting Bob and Drygulch Deryl along for the ride, what a lively and entertaining bunch! Congratulations to BlackRiver Jack for not only taking the top spot, but also shooting a clean match, which he does so well. Butch and Willie were close on his heels, with Cookson and Shalako also performing well for the day. I think this is one of the better shoots we have had, the spirits were high and everyone had a great time too. Hope the heat backs off a little for the next shoot, which falls on Saturday, the fourth of July. We will have plenty of lemonade and water available, and if we get there early enough and it is not too windy, we might try to set up the shade structure as well. BlackRiver Jenny will fix up something special to celebrate the holiday, and we will look forward to seeing ya’ll on the 4th.
