Next Cowboy Action Shooting Dates: June 3rd & 9th - start @9:30am

Welcome to the website for the Rattlesnake Mountain Rangers
Cowboy Action Shooting Club.

We are located between Checotah and Warner Oklahoma just south of Muskogee, and shoot the second Saturday of the month.

The next two shoots will be Sunday June 3rd and Saturday June 9th. Start time will be at 9:30 a.m.

We will have 3 stages of WildBunch after the Saturday shoot for no charge.

The shoots for May are now history. With raining weather looming on both shoot days it kept some shooters away. But both days turned out to be really nice days. At the Sunday shoot we had about 10 drops of rain and then that went away.

On Sunday Red Knee had a super day and won out over the Creek County Kid. Misses had something to do with that.

At the Saturday shoot, BlackRiver Jack had a clean match and took the over all spot. Red Knee had some problems hitting the targets and had to settle for second. Peddler Parsons got his gun problems solved and was third. Good shooting to all.

Choctaw Jack his grand son Lil’ Longstep and another cowboy shooter from Daisy, OK were up for the Saturday shoot. It is always good to see Jack. Come back soon!

We hope that you will plan to take part in a shoot at our range in the coming months. We are working on the range and there are changes in place every month. Looking forward to getting stage 5 set up and working shortly. Also some tweking on both stage one and two.
